New Player Functionalities

The Bandstand application providesadditional functions within its midi-player:

1. Playlist Functions

Playlist AccessBy pressing the vertical arrow-buttonin the midi-player an overview overthe playlist is presented. The playlistmanagement window could be openedby selecting in theheader of the appearing list. The addedsongs could be loaded directly into theplayer from this preview list.

Manage Playlists

Playlist Management

De ning names, storing and loadingplaylists is identical to the manage-ment process for instrument presets.De ning names could be realized byclicking directly in the eld above andtyping the desired name.By clicking the disk symbol the playlistis being stored.A new playlist could be created by click-ing the new button.

Add SongA single song could be added to the listby clicking the Add Song-Button. A

le dialogue opens and a midi- le couldbe selected.

Add Folder

A folder containing midi- les could beadded to the list by clicking the AddFolder button. All midi- les containedin the selected folder will be added tothe playlist.

Remove Song

Select a song and click the RemoveButton in order to delete a song fromthe playlist.

UP/ DOWN Buttons

By clicking the UP/DOWN Buttons atthe bottom of the playlist window, a

single midi- le could be repositionedwithin the playlist.

CANCEL/ OK

Please note that the new playlist willnot be activated until the OK buttonhas been pressed.By clicking CANCEL all changes will belost!

2. Forward/ RewindThe forward and rewind buttons now

provide fast-forward and rewind in thecurrent midi track.

3. New Tempo Management

The new tempo management pro-vides relative values concerning tempochanges.The procent value could be edited byclicking either the up/ down arrows orthe value itself.The value in BPM (Beats per minute)alters accordingly.

4. Next/ previous song

The small arrows are provided for ac-cessing directly the next/ previous songin the playlist from the surface of themidi-player.

5. Progess bar

The progress bar allows direct access tothe midi- les song position. Just clickthe small square to reach the song posi-tion you like to.
