A somewhat exhausting build of Eduard's Camel, what with so much potential for messing it up. Fortunately however, in
spite of my tender ministrations, there were no major stumbling blocks. I did it up as William G. "Billy" Barker's famous
B6313, the highest scoring single aircraft (46 kills, IIRC) of The Great War. Does anyone know if there is a higher scoring
aircraft from other conflicts?

Beautifully done Tony - great stuff. I too feel a WWI aircraft coming on. Insprational.

PS - I particularly like the f inish on the cowl and the metal casings. Was that Alclad? Anything else?

Very impressive model. To quote a worn-out expression… "it looks real" .
In fact, I think it's the first portrayal I've seen of a Great War a/c that looks intimidating and potentially deadly to me –
otherwise I often get a rather quaint impression of struts'n'strings aircraft. This one looks like it's straight out of Derek
Robinson's Goshawk squadron.

more gushing praise a very nice finish so much so it looks as though trees died just to produce the prop.
Makes me want to have a go at a WWI aircraft but i'm convinced the rigging would soon end up being referred to as
frigging rigging

GCN - you shouldn't be afraid of rigging - it's really not as hard as you might think - it just requires a lot of patience.
