SPECIFICATION

The unique lightweight Equi-Trek ATOM horsebox is constructed using a revolutionary composite fused panel with properties similar to that of carbon fibre. This incredibly impact-resistant material not only increases strength but is also extremely lightweight. The ATOM therefore provides a strong, durable and a safe environment in which to transport your horse. With a remarkable unladen weight from 2,100kg, it offers the highest potential payload for this size of horsebox on the market.

When owning a 3,500kg horsebox, it is vital that you know what the payload is, so that you can calculate whether it is capable of carrying one or two horses, all your equipment, yourself and your passengers.

Built on a brand new Peugeot chassis with a powerful 150BHP HDI diesel engine, the ATOM not only offers you the very largest payload but it is also extremely easy and economical to drive. Furthermore, the lower chassis height ensures the utmost stability.

Having been in development for over 2 years, you can rest assured that no compromise has been made on the safety and strength of the ATOM horsebox, which carries full European and VCA Type Approval. The full height reinforced bulkhead between the horse area and cabin ensures the utmost safety for the driver, passenger and horses. In addition the floor is constructed of a sturdy aluminium planked flooring which is covered with a hard wearing rubber matting.

The horse area is well equipped with two rear facing stalls; incorporating a dual-height, padded collapsible breast bar, all round windows for light and ventilation, and a fully adjustable partition. There is a choice of four layouts according to your personal preference, as well as many other optional extras detailed throughout this brochure.
