EXAMPLES: 2019 INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
> Some internship descriptions for this year include: – “Plan, prepare, and implement a roof garden space; lead and educate
volunteers on small space gardening with a focus on urban spaces and food equity; and interact with our community by developing and leading tours for the public.”
– “The UCBI intern would be responsible for creating and distributing
different marketing materials for our small food vendors. This
opportunity offers the intern a chance to bring their creative and
unique ideas to the table to support our vendors!”
– “Our vision is for the UCBI intern to get to know our community and
collect recipes from community members and develop a cookbook
from the collected recipes. This work will involve a lot interaction
with the food bank community, and careful compilation of
information into a neatly crafted cookbook.”
