Key Benefits

• Minimise the risks in your cloud adoption strategy

• Check all aspects of security before you make the move

• Leverage the latest security & data governance features available to you in Microsoft’s cloud

• Eliminate the need for third-party add-ons such as anti-spam & anti-virus services

• Commence your cloud adoption with confidence & with knowledge of how to ensure a secure environment.

• Leave you with a living document to govern security configurations going forwards.

Ensure security & complianceAzure & Office 365 offer a rich set of security and compliance features.

Cloud Essentials can help you navigate and leverage what’s available to keep your cloud services secure and compliant – even during the data and application transition period.

Educate all key stakeholdersA move to the cloud can lead to security concerns that can act as a barrier to adoption.

Is our information secure? Who has access to it? Will we have the same level of anti-spam & anti-virus control? What are our data privacy policies? Will the cloud let us manage & protect data in the same way?

Our workshop is designed to inform all key stakeholders – not just the IT team– on what’s available in Microsoft’s cloud & how your on-premises security posture can be both matched & enhanced.

Review your existing security needsAs the name suggests, this is very much what we consider a ‘Baseline’ of the settings and controls that should be in place to match your current onsite security, retention and administrative account control settings.

It’s important to note that some Office 365/Azure features may not be configured optimally for your needs or enabled by default.

Plan for remediationWe can help identify any cloud configuration needs or other precautions to take before deployment. In the event of any ‘gaps’ we will recommend any additional licencing and can source best-of-breed security & governance solutions such as AD analysis tools.

Our advanced workshops & services are available to help with this process, both initially & as new Microsoft services are added.
