Watch TV

How To Sync Remote With TV

Press and hold the Setup button until the Remote back lighting blinks twice. Then, press

the TV button located at the top of the Remote. Finally, press and hold the OK button

until the TV button light turns off.

How To Turn On Your System

Press Power. Continue to aim remote at TV and Set Top Box until they both turn on.

Repeat action to turn off. To turn on individual components, press the corresponding

component button (STB, TV, DVD, AUX), and then press Power.

How To Change Channels

Tip: At any time you can push the button Exit To on your remote.

This will return you to live TV.

Using the Channel up and down buttons on your remote will change the channel.

Another way to change channels is by using the directional up and down buttons

located around the OK center button. This will change the Picture in Picture

channel. You will stay tuned to one channel in the background while changing

one smaller thumbnail view to browse.

How To Bring Up The Guide

Press Guide on your remote. The Ch/Page up and down buttons will scroll through the

guide by a whole screen page at a time.

How To Change The Volume

Press the Volume + and Volume – button to adjust the volume. Pushing the Mute button

to the right of Volume +/- will mute the TV.

Watch On Demand

How To Bring Up Video On Demand

Press the orange On Demand button on your remote control for free and premium

rentals and movies.

Using the DVR

How To Record a Program

Find the show you would like to record by pushing Guide and navigating to the

program using the arrow keys. Press the Record button on your remote once.

How To View a Recorded Program

Press Recorded TV on your remote and select your desired program from list.

Pause Live TV (DVR in home required)

While watching TV press the Pause button on your remote. You can pause live TV for

up to 90 minutes. If you change the channel, pause live TV will be cancelled. To ensure

that you do not miss any program you would like to watch schedule a recording on

your DVR.

Closed Captioning

Simply push the C button on your remote and then select ON. To turn off closed

captioning, select OFF.

How To Get More Information On a Channel

Pushing the Info button on your remote will give you more Information when you have a

program highlighted in the Guide or when you are within a menu’s subsection. To return

to live TV you can push Exit To on your remote at any time.

How to Set Up Favorites

Press enter on your remote; select Edit Favorites and check the channels to include in

your list. When finished press save to save your list.

Multi-Room DVR

Multi-Room DVR is an add-on service that allows all set top boxes within a home to

access recordings made on a DVR. Programs on a particular DVR are identified as

playable assets by other set top boxes on a home network.

Replay TV

Restart a program that aired up to 48 hours ago. (Available on select channels.)

Replay TV channels are marked by the icon on the Guide.

Customizing Your Guide

While on the Guide page push the # button on your remote. Select “Guide Settings” and

then “Customize Channels.” Within Customize Channels you can remove the channels

that you do not want to appear in the Guide. If at any time you want to re-add that

channel back in, place a checkmark next to the channel and press Save. (See page 12 in

the user guide for more information.)

Multi-Room DVR

Multi-Room DVR is an add-on service that allows all set top boxes within a home to

access recordings made on a DVR. Programs on a particular DVR are identified as

playable assets by other set top boxes on a Multi-Room network. (See page 16 in

the user guide for more information.)

Replay TV
