VOCABULARY PRACTICE

SLIDE

• A slide on Power Point is each page that contains information or pictures. The text you see right now is on a slide. You will have multiple slides that make up your presentation.

THEME

• The theme of your Power Point is the design of your presentation including colors and text fonts. You can make your own theme, or choose from the themes provided.

You can access provided themes by clicking on the tab here.

You can also change the colorschemes and fonts within a theme.

I am using the theme called Apothecary, but changed the

colors and fonts.

SLIDE LAYOUT

• The slide layout is how your text and graphics are arranged on your slide.

This slide is using the TwoContent layout. It is useful

if you have text and graphicsto put on one slide.

TRANSITIONS

• When showing a Power Point presentation, transitions are how one slide moves to the next.

Use this tab to access the different transitions

and decide which one you want to use.

ANIMATIONS

• During your presentation, animations are how your text and graphics enter or exit the slide.

Use this tab to access the different animations

and decide which one you want to use.

SHOW

• Your finished Power Point presentation is called a show. Right now, you are viewing my slide show.
