Page 3: BASILICA OF ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH & SCHOOLbasilicaofsaintpaul.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/... · 6/5/2011  · Deacon Edwin Cardona Mass Schedule: Mon.-Sat: 9:00am Saturday:

Fr. Charles Nabwana opened the Home of the Holy Angels in 2010 to 25 children; today,

there are almost 200 orphans between the ages of 3 and 14.

The good news is that our 14 of our pioneer students have taken their final national

exams. I’m pleased to report that 11 of them received an A and three received a B. I’m

happy to let you know that these children are now attending a Catholic High School in the

district. We intend on continuing to support them through their schooling. This, will of

course, increase our cost for each child.

Currently we spend a little over $600 a year to support a student at the Home of the Holy

Angels. To send them to High School, where they will live during the school term, will

increase our costs to about $1000 for each child. We would really appreciate your help.

Fr. Charles will speak at all Masses the weekend of June 10/11. Special collection

envelopes will be available in the pews if you would like to help the Home of the Holy

Angels Orphanage. Please make the checks out to the Basilica of St. Paul, memo: Holy

Angels Orphanage.
