    We are finishing up work on Patterns of Early Brockport note cards featuring 5 historic homes in the ParkAve/State St District with histories written by Village Trustee, Carol Hannan. The cards will be available for sale

    by April 20, 2013 and proceeds will be used for village gardens and beautification.

    We finished the research and power point presentation for the Garden Fences for Main St. and Market St. Fundraising will begin and initial orders will be placed.

    2014 Calendar Best of Brockport photo competition has begun and photos taken within the village are startingto be submitted.

    Members continue to help with Carol Hannans Revitalize Brockport project at 65 Fayette St. Electrical andplumbing work has been completed, Drywall work and painting continue. Great progress is being made.

    Development of the www.Brockporthistorichomes.org website continues featuring Carol Hannans genealogiesof homes in Brockports historic core.

    A living memorial to honor past mayor, Jim Stull, has been initiated and Pro-Brockport will be working with theTree Board to fund raise to purchase a tree to be planted in Remembrance Park.

    Pro-Brockport members and a student intern from SUNY Brockport are beginning research and applicationprocess for the Brockport Cemetery located on High St. to be placed on the State and National Registers.

    Some members are gearing up for work in the village parks and gardens. Two members are taking the MasterGardener Program through the Cornell Cooperative Extension starting in late March.

    Members are volunteering at the Welcome Center for the Wine Walk on 3/9/13. Pro-Brockport members and friends will be taking a field trip to Mt. Morris on 3/9/13 to meet with Greg

    OConnell and Louise Wadsworth for a presentation, tour of commercial and residential spaces and lunch with

    discussion regarding the revitalization of Mt. Morris. Pro-Brockport hopes to encourage Mr. OConnell to cometo Brockport and revitalize 60 Clinton St.

    Some members are helping with the planning of the Low Bridge, High Water canal opening festival in early May. Plans are in the works to recognize the new recruits for the Police Dept. by having a meet and greet before their

    swearing in.

    Future Goals:

    We hope to meet with a representative from the Brockport Ambulance Corp. to see what Pro-Brockport can doto help their effort.

    Updating the directory for each street to help determine which properties are rental properties and, if so,whether they are registered and the rental fee has been paid.
