SCENES FROM CAMP
Winona mailbox moved to the barn to be ready for next year! Uncles Jeremy, Luch and Drew.
Aunt Michelle says, “Summer is over...pasture and riding ring belong to the turkeys again.”
We had many friends visit Winona this fall, including the Brown family (Miles and Koa) all the way from Hawaii!
Many post season projects continue around camp, including new construction of tent platforms, staff cabin remodeling and porch repair (the rotten beam shown in the above photo, which is being replaced, was nearly 100 years old and recycled from a barn nearly 80 years ago for this porch construction).
Aunt Michelle not only lets the wild turkeys sit on the fence, but she lets the goat, Heidi, in the Farmhouse kitchen for a treat every now and again.
Until next month,
Uncle Spencer & Aunt Laura

BAT WEEK October 24 - 31, 2018
Bats are amazing animals, and they contribute greatly to our environmental health, our economy, and our food. Every year bats save us billions of dollars in pest control by simply eating insects. However, they face significant conservation challenges, and an invasive disease, White-nose Syndrome has killed millions of bats in the United States and Canada.
