BAL 1012 is a podium style classroom with Classroom Controls integrated
software and a range of media capabilities. Instructors can show Blu-Rays and
DVDs, use the computer, or connect a laptop using the blue box. There are
two wireless microphones in the room, one lavaliere and one handheld. Only
one microphone can be used at a time. Most video sources can be displayed
through the data projector. There is a telephone in the room which is a
hotline to the ITS Help Desk. Should a problem arise, this phone can be used
to get immediate assistance.
