I agreeId like to be present at this meeting if possible. After our conversation today, Id like to discuss theCitys overall priorities for both Baywalk and the other projects that will affect the design (Bayfront Parkwaybeing transferred to the City, road diet, roundabout, etc) so that I can ensure DAG takes those into considerationthrough the design process.

The Mayor underscored today that he is interested in an implementable project. Based upon this direction,DAG is going to send me a realistic scope of work that they can complete given the set budget of$60,000. With this objective, we also need to discuss a reasonable budget so I can help DAG focus theirscope. I believe that DAG can complete the tasks specified in the DEP project agreement within budget, but thepriorities must be clearly defined.

I can contact Elisabeth to set up a meeting with the Mayor. John, do I have your consent to hold the contractapproval?

    Thanks,

    Ryan

After todays meeting with DOT, Id prefer to take the Baywalk A&E contract to the May 7th CRA Boardinstead of the original April 23

compatibilityhave yet to be clarified, Im not comfortable taking the contract to CRA with the strongpossibility that the scope may have to be amended. Given todays discussions with DOT, it seems likely thatIll need to request a project amendment with DOT, as well.

If you both prefer that the contract still go next week, I can make the memo as vague as possible regarding thescope of work, but the rest of the CRA Board may have concerns about such a vague project.

Ill need to get the clerks to amend the COW agenda if the contract does not go on Monday. Please let meknow/call ASAP to discuss. Thanks!
