08/20/2010 BBC WORLD LEADER WITH MULTIPLE ISO CERTIFICATIONS THE BARBADOS BOTTLING COMPANY, a subsidiary of Banks Holdings Limited, has become the first and only company in the world, audited by the British Standards Institute, to achieve certification in all four ISO standards at the same time. BBC is now certified in the following ISO standards: ISO 9001 – Quality Management ISO 14001 – Environmental Management ISO 22001 – Food Safety Management OHSAS 18001 – Occupational Health & Safety Management The company received the official certificates this month following a week-long audit in May of this year. According to BHL Director of Operations Dan Stoute, Coca-Cola’s parent company has confirmed that BBC was the only bottler across the entire Coca-Cola system to achieve this level of success in ISO Certification. The ISO 22000 certificate stands out significantly, as well, as BBC is the only bottler in the Coca-Cola Latin Centre Division to have attained this certificate. The BBC team, led by General Manager, William Haslett, has come in for high praise from BHL CEO Richard Cozier who considers the company’s accomplishment as one that is of national significance. “This is amongst the greatest achievement for us as group.
