•Size available: 1/4”; 3/8”; 5/8”.•Fully factory assembled.•Furnace brazed and pressure tested.•Each ball valve is equipped with 4-1/4” Schrader® Valve for refrigerant service.•Design working pressure: 700 PSIG.•Temperature range:-40˚ F to +325˚ F (-40˚ C to +149˚ C).•Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seals and gaskets (no synthetic O-rings).•Seal cap design permits valve operation without removal of seal cap.•One year limited materials and workmanship warranty on Ball Valves.

1. Designing CMY-R160-J1 to a PURY-P-T(S)LMU/Y(S)LMU systemThe maximum down-stream Indoor capacity for 1 port of BCcontroller is P54. When the down-stream Indoor capacity isabove P54, Joint kit CMY-R160-J1 is needed to combined 2ports of BC controller to enlarge the capacity, like Group 2 and3 in Fig. 1.Maximum 3 Indoor units are allowed to connect to 1 port of BCcontroller or 2 combined ports of BC controller using CMY-R160-J1.When connecting Indoor units to 1 port of BC controller or 2combined ports of BC controller using CMY-R160-J1 or CMY-Y102SS-G2 is applicable, like Group 1 and 2 in Fig. 1
Caution: Mixed cooling and heating mode at the same time forIndoor units connecting to 1 port or 2 combined ports is notavailable.
2. Piping at the installation siteThe connection of CMY-R160-J1 to BC controller and pipe leading to Indoor units is referable to Fig. 2. Non-oxidized brazing isnecessary. All piping must be careful to avoid foreign material getting inside.After piping and air-tight testing, insulation work to the Joint and pipe should be done. Details is available at the Installation Manual.
Joint kit "CMY-R160-J1" for BC controller is used to combine 2 ports of the BC controller at a PURY-P-T(S)LMU/Y(S)LMU system so as to enable down-stream Indoor capacity above P80 as shown in Fig. 1.

The Joint kit include following items:
Cutting point
Have pipe expansion of indoor unit connecting port by cutting the piping at the cutting point.Remove burr after cutting the piping to prevent entering the piping.Check that there is no crack at the pipe expansion part.
