Field Area Ne twork Optimiza tion: Due to the success of the first weeks of the me ter satura tion effort, B urnaby, Vancouver 6 and

Vancouver 8 al l reached substantial completion (network and meter saturation) two weeks ahead ofschedule.

Recent adju stm ents in strateg y and messaging relate d to custo me r refusals have seen a decrease in thepercent of successful custom er conversions in the f ie ld. The team is now trying several different modelsin the field to maximize c onversions. Reaching the 97.5% mete r sa turation ta rget across the province isat risk. Possible implications could be increased range extenders (and potentially routers) and increasedfor a manual mete r reading solu tion.
