� Personal Care Home Adminstrator Personal Care Homes (PCH) provide lodging, food and some support services for people who are elderly or have mental or physical disabilities. Residents need help with dressing, eating, taking medications, mobility and finances. This 100-hour standardized training is approved by the PA Department of Public Welfare (DPW) for first-time administrators ($1,098 total). The individual courses within the 100-hour training are for experienced administrators required to attend 24-hours of yearly job training (priced separately below). Visit our website for state required prerequisites for certification. Upon completion of the 100-hour training, students must pass the free competency test to receive a DPW Certificate.
