• Don’t expect life to be fair.• Leave everything a bit better than you found it.• Lie on your back and gaze at the stars, atleast once a week.• Return borrowed vehicles with the tank full.• Avoid negative people.• Never cut what can be untied.• Be cautious about lending money to friends. You might lose both.• When someone hugs you, let them be the first to let go.• Resist giving advice concerning matri mony, finances or hairstyles.• Don’t major in minor things.• Praise in public.• Criticize in private.• Never tell anyone they look tired or depressed.• Let people pull in front of you when you’re stopped in traffic.• Be confident. Even if you are not,

pretend to be .No one can tell the difference.• Return all things you borrow.• Treat everyone you meet like you want to be treated.• Have a firm handshake.• Say “please” a lot.• Look people in the eye.• Learn to play a musical instrument.• Always wear polished or clean shoes.• Compliment three people every day.• Remember birthdays and anniversa ries.• Remember that a successful marriage depends on two things: 1-Finding the right person .2-Being the right person.• See problems as opportunities for growth and self-mastery.• Don’t believe people when they ask you to be honest with them.• Respect your children’s privacy. Knock before entering their rooms.

Sign them, “Someone who thinks you are terrific.”• Take care of your reputation. It’s your most valuable asset.• Answer the phone with enthusiasm and energy in your voice.• Cherish your children for what they are, not for what you’d like them to be.
