Who are we?
What is the Caring Hands Classic?
Presbyterian Homes of Georgia is a Christian ministry providing exceptional services to enhance the
quality of life for senior adults. The heart of our ministry is the Caring Hands Fund. This fund subsidizes
the costs of 400 of our most financially vulnerable residents who need:
1) Daily nursing care, but can no longer afford the cost of their care,
2) In-home assistance services enabling them to maximize their independence,
3) Special medical devices like hearing aids, dentures, and wheelchairs.
Thanks to the Caring Hands Fund no resident of Presbyterian Homes has ever been asked to leave
because they could no longer afford the cost of their care.
The Caring Hands Classic is Presbyterian Homes’s annual two-day fundraising event on
October 20-21, 2019 at the Atlanta Athletic Club featuring the Ceilidh Auction and Golf
Tournament. This will be our 13th Classic.
Sunday night’s auction features a cocktail reception, more than 125 exceptional silent
auction items, live auction items, and a special Caring Hands program.
Monday follows with a bramble format tournament on both the Highlands and Riverside
courses at the Athletic Club. Tee it up to show you care!
