Three golf architecture styles are combined:• Classic design: wide streets surrounded by trees, large greens and hardly

protected. • Challenge or "Target Golf" design: modern style with narrow streets and

very protected greens, surrounded by sand traps and lakes. The Varadero Golf Course has several saltwater lakes that directly communicate with the sea, a feature that makes it almost unique in the World.

• Link Design: holes located right next to the sea, which follow the silhouette of the coast line, including the Sea itself as an additional obstacle in the game.

The route of the Course, due to its design, can be divided into two perfectly differentiated areas: the first round, from holes 1 to 9, can be considered slightly easier to play and the second round from holes 10 to 18, where the holes stand out for their complexity, specially holes 11,15,16,17 and 18. This design allows you to combine all the technical elements that every golfer desires with the beauty, peace, silence and quality of the game.

The tournament will take place during three days and will consist of three rounds of 18 holes, a practice round and two rounds of competition.

Players can apply to play in pairs which cannot be broken during the tournament. Foursomes will be arranged by the Golf Tournament Organizing Committee.

Players require an official handicap. A modified callaway handicap system will be set for the players who do not have it on each day of competition.

• Format: Modality Stable ford -100 % handicap
