Langsett Junior Rangers Programme to start May 2019
The Peak District National Park Ranger Service will soon be
starting a Junior Rangers programme based at Langsett Barn.
Junior Rangers are young people aged 11 to 18 with an
interest in the outdoor environment. They work alongside
the National Park Rangers and the Engagement Team to help
look after the Peak District National Park. The Junior Ranger
programme operates across Europe and our groups are
affiliated to the Europarc Federation. A taster day is being
run free of charge at Langsett Barn on Saturday 16th March
2019 for those interested. More information from
[email protected] and at
www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/learning-about/junior-rangers .
Welcome back everyone. I hope you have had all a
wonderful half term break
The warm weather has taken all of us by surprise so
please can I remind parents about water bottles for the
children so they always have access to a drink whilst in
school. Can I also remind parents that children need to
wear school uniform as we have a few older children
wearing inappropriate trousers currently.
