Be the Church. Make a Difference.
THE BLESSING BAGS that we made last week at Family Mission Night are
available for anyone to take. We encourage you give to a bag to someone you
encounter during the week who might need a little lift. Feel free to take a few to
keep in your car or briefcase. Feel free to make more as needed on your own.
ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING OFFERING I was hungry and you fed
me… The Presbyterian Hunger Program receives 36 % of your gifts to the
OGHS Offering. Your dollars work both here and abroad. In the US, 65
grant partners have impacted local and national change in maintaining
effective safety nets, addressing worker and immigration issues for the
working poor, and developing robust and healthy alternative food
systems that address rural and urban poverty in sustainable ways. See
today’s insert for more.
FISH BANKS Our FISH coin boxes for children (and adults also)
are available on the tables in the Commons and Gathering Areas. It’s
a hungry FISH, please feed it each time you have a meal. Fill its belly
with small coins every day until Easter!
LAMB CENTER DRIVE Please help Make a Difference by participat-
ing in Providence’s annual mission project to provide urgently needed
supplies for the Lamb Center, a drop-in center for the poor and
