Anse Mamin North of Soufriere and approximately forty-five minutes south from Marigot Bay is nestled Anse Mamin, named after the river running through the six hundred acre former estate that climbs up the adjacent hillsides.

Soft sands fringed with whispering coconut palms are lapped by the emerald ocean at this secluded, upscale location which is also renowned for its snorkelling and scuba diving.

In the 1800s, Anse Mamin recorded the arrival of twenty-five African refugees who travelled by sea via the French islands and were offered work as labourers on the estate. Close to the beach, ruins of the old sugar mill and estate life are waiting to be discovered and explored.

There is access to refreshments and bathroom facilities at the small hotel at the end of

the beach.

Pigeon Island Sun, sea and white sand are just part of Pigeon Island’s charms, but Saint Lucia’s most historic national park boasts two delightful coves just a short walk from the jetty where our boat ties up after less than an hour’s ride from Marigot Bay.

Said to be the chosen haunt of notorious pirate Jambe De Bois or Wooden Leg, this former military fort was a strategic prize in the British/French battles of the eighteenth century and many of the ruins can still be explored today among the acres of grassy hills and well-signed trails that are maintained by the Saint Lucia National Trust.

Entrance fees and sun loungers are included and there are two restaurants inside the park, while outside the gate is a public beach buzzing with local bars and cafes. Bathroom facilities are easily accessible and guided tours can be arranged in advance.

Twin BeachAbout fifteen minutes south of Marigot Bay Resort and Marina is a pair of matching coves separated by a rocky outcrop and only accessible by boat. This rustic beach, christened “Twin Beach” by our own

Operations Director, Perle Flavien is a tiny secluded gem just north of Anse La Raye, the fishing village named from the countless manta rays that made their home in this great escape (the bay) when St.Lucia was discovered by European seafarers in the eighteenth century.

We can even make arrangements for our Culinary team to cater for barbeques and other special celebrations at an additional cost. These extra services can be organized ahead of time with your Personal Assistant.
