Step Up to Connect

The BUMC Foundation was formed in 1992 for the specific purpose of supporting the programs, ministry, works, goals, and objectives of BUMC. They are permitted to grant 5% of their assets each year toward these endeavors. A Grant Request Proposal must be completed for grants to be considered, with the next round due by February 29, 2012. To submit a Grant Request Proposal for a project, initiative or program that is consistent with the Foundation’s purpose, visit www.bumc.net/foundation.

Thank you BUMC, for Your Generous Support of the 2011 Alternative Gift Giving Event During the Christmas season, there were 70 giving units who purchased “alternative gifts” totaling $24,034.75 that go to support 29 different organizations and ministries. Honduras Medical Mission Team is gearing up for their spring trip to aid our friends at Hands of Christ in Tegucigalpa. We have big plans for Honduras this year with this trip being the first in our journey. Doctors, nurses, PTs and lay people with good hearts needed for a mid-April life-changing experience.
