Her latest book s are The Stuff of Nightmares  (2007) ,Double Cross (2008) and Boys Don’t Cry (2009). She was awarded an OBE in 2008 and has been desc ri bed by THE TIMES newspaper as “ a bit of a national t reasure” .

Now a full-timeplaywright she is completing her firstnovel and short film scripts. Herprose pieces, a poem and haiku arepublished in Sydenham Sprouts, ananthology by Kirkdale writers inDecember 2010
