Improve business performance. Because the CPTM program is focused on the alignment between training initiatives and business goals, you will gain effective tools to drive results.

Lead the change in transforming the business of training. The CPTM program imparts a common language designed to unify the training industry, promoting the status of learning and development as a profession that is respected and essential to improving business performance.

In 2008, Training Industry launched a research project to identify and explore, in detail, the traits of the highest-performing training organizations. This research, updated regularly, represents the perspective of more than 2,000 learning leaders and forms the body of knowledge behind the Certified Professional in Training Management program and curriculum.

The research-based content of this certification provides current and future learning leaders with specific insight into each of the eight key process areas that support the highest-performing training organizations. It is delivered through an intuitive and hands-on learning program jointly developed by Training Industry and Pearson.
