Become a Launch Operator - Training Expenses Paid Everything you need to become a USCG-licensed launch operator! This 4-day course is for boaters who are interested in becoming licensed launch operators while gaining valuable on-the-water boat handling skills that will help to prepare for your first launch tender job. Upon successfully completing this course, participants will receive: - First Aid/CPR certification - USCG-Approved Launch Tender Course Completion Certificate from Confident Captain/Ocean Pros - USCG Application assistance - Job placement assistance Course Entry Requirements: - RI resident aged 17 or older - Un-employed or under-employed - Sea time: 120 days of service on small vessels with 90 of those in the last 3 years When/ Where: - April 16-17 and 20-21, 2016. - 344 Aquidneck Ave. Middletown, RI. Space is limited, priority will be given to applications received by 4/1/16, deadline for applications is 4/6/16. All selected applicants will be screened and interviewed prior to acceptance. Candidates will be required to document sea time, pass a drug test and physical examination.
