If you have any questions,

this FAQ section is the

ultimate help guide! You can

scroll to the top and search

within the help manual, or

look at the table of contents

and jump to sections of

interest.

Explore a bit and then click on the PubMed logo at the top of

the page to return to the PubMed homepage!

Click on Single Citation Matcher!

Here you will enter information for a specific citation.

Thankfully, you don’t have to know all of this

information – just enter as much as you know. The

more you can enter, the more likely your search is to

bring back the right article right away.

Let’s run a sample

search! In the Journal

search box type in New

England Journal of

Medicine. In the Date

box type in 2008.

These are citations of articles from the 2008 volumes of

NEJM. To limit your search to full-text articles only, click

on the link above. If full-text is available, click on the

NEJM logo to access the full article.

You can click on the title of any article to get more

information, including MeSH terms and related citations.

Explore a bit and then click on the PubMed logo at the top of

the page to return to the PubMed homepage!

If the full-text is not available through

PubMed, don’t despair! We may still

have access through the library. Save

the citation information and check our

library resources to see if we have it

available!

tutorial for more complete directions!
