Homework Assignment

Directions: Students are to think about these two current ideas in relation to the lesson they learned. They are to also seek outside input from parents, friends, or neighbors to help in reaching a conclusion:

1) Some wonder if the Electoral College is still a practical practice in our political system today. Why might some think this is true?

2) Some believe that electing the president and vice president should only be in the hands of the voters “We the People,” instead of having a group of people decide who leads our country.

Even though America suffered greatly from WWI and the Great Depression their role and involvement in WWII was desperately needed to conquer Hitler and the other Axis Powers.
