CRSU is a Haryana State UGC (University Grant Commission) approved
Government University. Established at 2014. Located in Jind. The university
mainly gives degree certification for educational courses like B.Ed., M.Ed., and
D.Ed. The colleges which are approved under the university are NCTE (National
Council for Teaching Education). The university recently created a history by
making admissions of 45,000+ students over 60,000 seats.
WHY B.ED?The degree in Bachelor of Education comprises the
study of academics. It is popularly called as B.Ed.
and is needed for those who want to make a
career in the field of teaching. Here candidates
interested in following a career in any teaching
school will aspire for the degree. The degree can
be earned only after completing graduation. These
days it is mandatory to earn a degree in B.Ed.
before you apply for a teaching job in any teaching
facility. The course is of one-year duration and can
be done parallel with the graduation final year
course. One can apply for distance learning
program as well. The exams are conducted by the
National Council for Teacher Education, the
authorized board in India to regulate the entrance
exam.
Courses
B.Ed. (Bachelor in Education)
B.ed is a classified bachelor degreecourse where candidate who does the
course will be eligible to teach tillclass 8th std. Each B.Ed. course ishaving specialization for teaching
subjects like Maths, English, SocialStudies and etc.
M.Ed. (Master’s in Education)
M.Ed. is a master degree programoffered by CRSU. The duration ofthe course is 2 years. Candidate
must be a B.Ed. holder withminimum of 50% aggregate and
then so he/ she will be eligible toapply for M.Ed.

AdmissionprocedureEvery candidate who aspires to earn a degree in
B.Ed. should appear for the entrance exam that is
conducted by the recognized board of India. The
application forms are provided by paying a small
fee to the board. One can get the application form
from the official website of the university. One can
also purchase it directly from college or
institutions. The entrance exam comprises
objective type questions and will have around 200
questions. Various subjects covered in the exam are
logical reasoning, GK, English, common awareness
and some subjects from the teaching field. One can
choose the specific field as well. Upon passing the
entrance exam the candidate will be notified for
joining the college.
Eligibility CriteriaThe candidate ought to have passed
his/her graduation from a recognizeduniversity. The graduation ought to be
