Bed Head is a set of wireless headphones you can take anywhere or leave at your bedside. These headphones are capable of tuning into the radio, displaying/reciting time, act as an MP3 player, as well as connect to any device via bluetooth or USB. Bed Head includes touch-screen and voice-activated capabilities. Whether you want to listen by yourself or listen by speakers, Bed Head is an unconventional interactive input method for all to utilize!

Bed Head comes with the following features:

Clock. This display can be seen when placed at your bedside, or you can listen to the time by a mere tap of the right screen. You can also set up an alarm.

MP3. Music can be loaded into the headphones via bluetooth or the USB drive. You can switch to speakers mode so you don’t have to wear them over the ears to listen.

Radio. You can scan through various radio stations or set up to five of your most listened stations.

Phone. When someone calls the house or mobile phone, you can answer it via the headphones.

Other. Bed Head can connect to any other digital devices if desired through bluetooth or USB (i.e. laptop).

Voice-Activated Cues:

“Play” Plays the current song.“Next” Plays the next song.“Back” Repeats the last played song.“Pause” Pauses the current song.“Scan” Sets radio to scan stations.“Channel _____” Plays the specified channel.“Light On/Off” Turns the bedroom light on or off.

“Time” Recites current time.“Alarm On” Switches alarm on.“Alarm Off” Switches alarm off.“Answer” Answers the phone.“Call ________” Dials the number of the contact listed on the phone.“Volume Up/Down.” Adjusts volume accordingly.

Left Side

The left side of Bed Head includes the music-based features, such as the MP3 player and radio. Users can scroll through the channels or set up to five radio stations.

If the user is not listening to the radio, the screen will scroll the current MP3 name. MP3s can be loaded into the headphones via bluetooth or USB, or they can be connected to a laptop or other device.

Right Side

The right side of Bed Head includes the clock and alarm system. The user can set the time or alarm by holding down the screen, followed by scrolling up or down to reach the correct number. The alarm bell icon will light when the alarm is set to on. Furthermore, the user can tap the screen in order to have the clock time announced.

There is also a 3D motion sensor inside the headphones, so the screens will shift to the correct position on either side. Additionally, the Speakers mode switch is located on this side.
