2. Insert and remove SmartKey toolBefore You StartThesestepsshowyouhowtochangefromthecurrentkeythatoperatesthelocktoanewkeyyouwanttooperatethelock.Fornewpurchases,thecurrentkeyistheonethatwassuppliedintheboxwiththepurchasedlockset.

Besuretoinstalltheproductonthedoorfirst.Also,thesestepsshouldbedonewhilethedoorisopen.

Theseinstructionsillustrateadeadboltfordemostrationpurposes,buttheseSmartKeyrekeyinginstructionsalsoapplytohandlesets.

Becarefulnottorotatewhenmoving.

Ifkeydoesnotpullout,returntoStep2a.

Fullyinsertnewkey.Becarefulnottorotatewheninserting.

3. Learn new key
