Gather information about scholarship, grants and student loans.

Start to apply for scholarships! Be proactive in your search and application process.

Plan your 12th grades schedule. Work with counselor and teachers to build a

schedule that will challenge and allow for success.

Summer is a great way to get ahead. Search and apply for scholarships. Outline college essays. Study for entrance exams.

Visit your high school counselor once more to confirm you are on track to graduate. Also confirm you are on track for college enterance requirements. Reach out to teachers, school administration and

college admission counselors with questions. College applications:

Solidify your college list. Stay organized, know deadlines and requirements. Set aside time to write a personal statement and other

college enterance exams. Ask for recommendations at least a month or so before the

application is due
