This presentation will show my position shift from

being a meat-eater, to becoming a vegetarian,

to returning to eating meat, with a different

perspective.

slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would

be a vegetarian" (Peters, 2013).

Before...

My whole life, I ate

meat and all the

animal products. I very

much enjoyed and

craved steak, chicken,

hamburgers...

The After

For a long time, I was a

vegetarian. My food

consisted in

vegetables, fruits,

breads, rice, pasta,

beans, tofu and other

vegetarian proteins.

...Food Envy!

As a vegetarian, I

could not eat the

same delicious things

my friends and family

were eating!

My life as a Vegetarian...

I became very skinny

I even got gray hair!

The Change II: Egypt

I spent some time in

Egypt

And I noticed how the

people live off animals

and the land

Page 10: Being a vegetarian

Then and Now!

The ancient Egyptians

used animals

So did our human

ancestors

Page 11: Being a vegetarian

My Position Shifted

I realized that it is not evil to eat and use animals

I realized that it is healthy and natural

What is wrong is the separation from nature and torturing animals

Vs.

Page 12: Being a vegetarian

... And Now ...

Page 13: Being a vegetarian

In Retrospect

I believe in eating healthy proteins, including animals, but I support organic

food and humane farms.

I do not judge meat eaters, or vegetarians, since I understand both

perspectives. However, in my experience, it is good for the body to eat

animal products.

I am very glad I had the experience of being a vegetarian and becoming

a more conscientious eater.

Page 14: Being a vegetarian

In Conclusion

If slaughterhouses had walls, everyone would be a more conscientious

eater.
