Cork is a natural sound absorber. It reduces noise within a room as well as
vibrations between rooms. Cork’s honeycomb structure is filled with air
which makes it possible to absorb the sound and vibrations.
According to tests, the use of cork floors can reduce the walking sound up to 53%, when
compared to Laminates (in dB).
