The Middlesboro library wants to thank the
Cumberland Park Garden Club for their annual book
contribution for our collection during National Garden
Week, June 5-11, 2016. This year’s book, The
Frightened Frog: An Environmental Tale, by Brenda
Moore and Jean Ohlmann, illustrated by Emily Lackey,
and published by the National Garden Clubs, Inc., will be
catalogued and available for checkout soon. Written to
educate elementary children about the environmental
issues affecting amphibians, this book has brightly
illustrated drawings and includes Fun Frog Facts, a
Glossary, and a list of the different sounds a frog makes
according to people around the world!
