Treasurer Report Bellevue PTSA Council 2.3

Financial Report for 3/2/2015 General Meeting Prepared by Pam Rauch, Treasurer

  1.  Income received to fund the Alice Hurd Scholarships. We received $6,000 for the

current FY 2014-15 in amount of $6,000. 2.  We also received the FY 2013-14’s funding for the Alice Hurd scholarships in the

amount of $6,000 (overpayment of $1,000). Since we are cash basis we have to reflect this $6,000 in this year’s budget.

3.  Current bank, Eastside Commercial Bank in Bellevue, is merging with First Sound Bank of Seattle. Bellevue branch will be closing, and continuing with only Seattle branches is not feasible. Board voted on 2/26/2015 to move bank accounts to BECU this month.

4.  Other expenses paid this month: Bellevue Schools Foundation $1,000 donation, Bellevue Quality Schools $200 donation for future school levy support, and Oct. 24-25 WSPTA Legislative Assembly attendee costs of $319.

5. Mid-year financial review committee volunteers, coordinated by Lisa Shank.

PTA Training & Roundtables •  The following Bellevue PTA’s are fully trained as

of February 10th – Thanks for your efforts! Bellevue Council Ardmore Enatai Spiritridge Woodridge Highland Odle Tyee Bellevue High Sammamish High Bellevue Special Needs Training must be completed by 04/30/15. Online training completed between 2/10 and 3/1 not reflected.

•  WSPTA Convention – April 17-19, Bellevue Hyatt (DOES NOT COUNT FOR THIS YEARS TRAINING)

•  School and Family Fair March 11th, Interlake High School

•  Upcoming Parent Education Series March 4th, Smarter Balanced with Heather Edlund March 11th School and Family Fair March 25th is Empathy and Education April 1st is BSF/VIBES volunteering April 15th Café Itos. April 22nd is Early Childhood conversations April 29th is Brightspace May – Dates TBA: Topics include:
