Rules

All teams will play 5 matches in a round-robin tournament format 8-a-side matches. Maximum Squads of 11 players. Teams cannot be changed during a game

with the exception of injury. Matches will be 7 overs per side. Each player bowls 1 over, with the exception of the wicketkeeper. Wide’s will count as 2 runs and no extra ball will be bowled apart from the

final over when normal rules apply with wide’s being 1 run and re-bowled. Batsmen retire when they reach 20 and may come back in if required. Before an innings batting teams will inform the umpire when they wish to

play their power play over where runs are doubled including extras. All other rules of cricket apply. 3 points for a win, 1 for a tie, 0 for a loss. In the event of a tie for positions in the group, the result between the sides

involved will decide the winner. If teams are still tied then the total number of runs scored will determine the winners followed by the fewest number of wickets lost in the competition and.

I would invite everyone to stay for the Presentations, which will be held at the pavilion at around 2:30 pm.
