Hi Everyone! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and we wish you a happy new year. Well the last few months have just flown by. We have been really blessed with many opportunities to minister in different places all over Uganda and it is amazing to see how God can use ordinary people like us to share the gospel and teach His Word. Esther has just finished a week long holiday programme for the children at church as well as children from the surrounding community. The majority of people in the community are staunch Catholics and Muslims, but slowly by slowly more parents are allowing their children to come, which has given us a great opportunity to share God’s love and the gospel with these children. The children had a fantastic time learning about Christmas and doing many different Christmas crafts. Even the most basic things like making a little paper basket or a cardboard angel is new and exciting for these kids. The kids are also busy practicing some Christmas carols and a drama for the Christmas service. In the first week of December our church had its annual conference. This is where all the Christian Fellowship Churches in the region (about 30 churches) come and fellowship together and listen to the Word. This year the theme was from Ephesians 6:10 – ‘Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power’. Ben had the opportunity to preach alongside speakers from all over Uganda and from the USA. It was a fantastic time of hearing the word and seeing people delivered and healed. We also had a great time of ministry when we went to Eastern Uganda for two weeks. It’s around a total of 12 hours driving to Mbale (where we stay) from Kabale which we normally split into two days of driving. We stayed with Bill and Mary Nangai, a wonderful retired couple who look after us like kings. They are a real blessing and they also have five dogs which Zeke thought was absolutely wonderful. We normally minister in the districts of Burambuli and Sironko while we are in Eastern Uganda and this year we spent the majority of our trip preaching in 3 different churches there. This year we also had the opportunity to preach in Kapchorwa District which opened a new door of ministry for us there and in Bukwo District. Ben was invited to preach in PAG Church in Mbale Town, again this has now opened up new doors for ministry in Mbale, Bududa and Manafa Districts. God willing we will make the trip to Mbale more than once a year now, we never turn down ministry opportunities unless God tells us to so please pray for the door God has opened for us in Eastern Uganda, we have made the commitment in faith to try and make the journey three times in the coming year and a half. While ministering in Eastern Uganda it was amazing to see God move and touch peoples’ lives. Many people were healed and delivered and came to a deeper understanding of the Word of God. Esther also did children’s church teacher training while there and we were very blessed to find PAG in Mbale town building a children’s church building (this is a first for us to see in Uganda). As we have mentioned previously children are not on the important list for most churches here in Uganda, so it was great to see a church who valued their children enough to build a building for them to meet. We are also starting a goat/cow project in our local church community in partnership with Trailblazer ministries (www.traillblazer.com). The aim is to help people who are struggling to use the animal to help provide an extra income for themselves. In January we are planning to have a short seminar for the people who will be receiving an animal on how to care for them and use them for financial benefit.

Please continue to pray for us, for God’s provision, our health and for wisdom. God bless you!

Love from,

Ben, Esther & Zeke

“Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and

the darkness around you will be as bright as day. The Lord will guide you continually, watering

your life when you are dry and keeping you healthy, too. You will be like a well-watered garden,

like an ever-flowing spring.” Isaiah 58:10-11
