COMPANY

Munich Airport is one of Europe‘s most important hub airports, with an annual passenger traffic of around 42 million people. The Airport has developed into one of Bavaria‘s largest place of employment, and today offers a broad range of future- oriented job opportunities. There are currently 30,000 people employed at 550 companies at Munich Airport, with 11,000 of these working for Deutsche Lufthansa AG, and around 9,000 for Munich Airport‘s owner Flughafen München GmbH and associated companies.

BRIEFING

The group‘s quality and project management department has said goodbye to the traditional cellular office structure. It has replaced this with an open and flexible room concept which corresponds with the employees‘ own identities and working methods more effectively, there-by letting them work in a more individual, flexible and targeted manner.

The sophisticated office land-scape is broken down into three areas: traditional workstations, assigned or for communal use, are supplemented by alternative offerings for high-focus activi-ties and retreat. Communication areas for discussions and meet-ings complete the concept.
