What is the benefit and how does it work?� At Unisys India, 25 days of paid time off
is bifurcated into different types, basedon the statutory requirement and marketpractices in respective states. Details asper the location are given in the tablebelow.
� Upon joining Unisys, I accumulate leaveon a prorated basis.
� Annual Leaves can’t be accumulatedbeyond 40 days and will lapse on a realtime basis.

accordance with the Maternity BenefitsAct, 1961. The maximum period ofMaternity benefit is 12 weeks.

When am I eligible to avail this benefit?� If I have worked for 80 days during the 12

� The 12 weeks can be broken up into pre- and post-delivery time, unless the attending physician or medical practitioner supports a lesser absence from work, prior to the delivery:
- Six weeks up to and including the day ofmy delivery; and

national and festival holidays annually, whichhelps me spend time with my family.

What is the procedure for me to avail this benefit?� I need to first avail my unutilized sick
leave before utilizing Critical Illnessleave.
� Critical Illness leave is subject to reviewby respective reporting leaders andHRBPs, and verification of medicalrecords by Unisys empaneled doctor.
� HRBP will communicate the approval tomy leader and to me. Leader willensure the approved leaves areupdated in WebTime and WebPay asappropriate.
� Critical Illness leave should be enteredagainst “Task code 0003 – Short TermDisability” under 100 IU in WebTime.

meal during office hours, subject to amaximum limit of INR 1,100 per month.
� I avail tax rebate as per income tax provisions.
When am I eligible to avail this benefit?� From the day I start working at Unisys.
What is the procedure for me to avail this benefit?� I can opt for food coupons through an
annual survey. I must provide adeclaration to this effect to the IndiaPayroll team.
� If I join on or after the 18th of themonth, I will be able to collect my foodcoupons in the subsequent month,subject to submission of the completeddeclaration form on the date of joining.
� I cannot withdraw once I opt for foodcoupons during a financial year.

INR 1,250 as a monthly component of mysalary.
� I can claim tax exemption on pharmacy bills,domiciliary, and hospitalization expenses notcovered under Medical Insurance for me andmy dependents.
� Tax benefit on my medical reimbursement issubject to income tax rules (the presentexemption limit under income tax rules is INR15,000 in a financial year i.e. April to March).

What is the benefit?� If I declare Leave Travel Allowance (LTA) in the
beginning of the financial year (April) or at thetime of joining, whichever is earlier, I will thenbe given LTA as a yearly payment along withmy March salary based on the submission ofrelevant bills. This is governed by the provisionof the Income Tax Act.
� The tax rules provide an exemption only fortwo journeys performed in a period of fourcalendar years.
� It is applicable for domestic travel only.

What is the benefit and how does it work?� Helps me and my family take care of our essential medical needs. It covers me, my spouse, two children, and parents or in-laws (either set of parents/ in-laws).� I co-share 10% for the premium amount� I am covered for a sum of INR 3 lakhs.� If I want an enhanced cover for my family, I can opt for voluntary top up ranging from INR 1 lakh to 5 lakhs against an annual premium that will be deducted from my salary.
