Make sure your bin is covered from
direct sun and rain.
You will need a shovel, hose, and
garden gloves.
A bin can be made from a wooden
box, a bucket, or other containers.
Collect your organic materials
separately, keeping your brown and
greens proportions correct.
Make sure your bin is close to a water
source.

* Cover your last layer of compost with brown waste or dirt.
*Monitor your compost periodically.

1. Create and prepare your compost box.
3. Deposit a layer of brown waste and dirt.
4. Deposit a second layer of green waste.
5. Continue adding layers until your container is full. Add water (Avoid flooding).
6. Mix the layers daily so air flows, which helps the decomposition.

It’s lacking air or it’s too wet.
Remove, air it out and add dry garden material.
Organic material isn’t completely dry.

Place green wastes in the middle and cover with brown wastes.
