Students find the answers themselves instead of asking a teacher. For example, a student who doesn’t know how
to cite a source is able to search for the answer instead of depending on the teacher to give the answer
Also, when the students find the answers themselves, they are more likely to remember the information
How does technology promote independence?
Students are able to print pictures off to form a collage to learn about certain subjects
Art teachers can use programs on the computer for the students to demonstrate their creativity
Teachers can have students create Facebook pages for significant people to show their creativity
The possibilities are endless because students are able to express their creativity with one click.

Create a balance between technology and hand written activities.
