Consistently one of the top brokers in the East Bay, Ryan has been involved in over 5 million square feet of leases/sublease in his career. He actively lists 3 million square feet of office space in the Oakland Metro area and has a robust tenant representation practice. Ryan has also been involved in many of the area’s most significant land, investment and owner-user sales.

John Schaefer joined Cushman & Wakefield Retail Services in 2001 and specializes in the sale and leasing of retail properties and tenant representation. Prior to joining Terranomics in 2001, John specialized in retail leasing and investments at CB Richard Ellis. John’s retail expertise allows him to provide his clients with an in-depth look at retail as it is seen through the eyes of the retailer.

Ms. Konik is part of a tenured and respected team alongside Ryan Hattersley. As a landlord advisor, Ms. Konik has helped clients reposition and market their assets in one of the fastest growing markets in the Bay. Ms. Konik has been with C&W since 2007, where she spent several years as a Consultant in the firms’ Global Business Consulting and Corporate Services practice. Elisa Konik is a local resident and active member of the Berkeley community.

Meet Our TeamThe proposed C&W Leasing Team would be led by Ryan Hattersley, C&W Oakland’s Top Broker and one of the most respected members of the East Bay brokerage community. Ryan Hattersley would be joined by John Schaefer, who would oversee the retail leasing strategy and Elisa Konik, who will assist in leasing execution across both office and retail assets.

John Schaefer joined Cushman & Wakefield Retail Services in 2001 and specializes in the sale and leasing of retail properties and tenant representation in Northern California. John has been involved with numerous ground up development projects and instrumental in the purchase, entitlement, and leasing process start to finish. Prior to joining Terranomics in 2001, John specialized in retail leasing and investments at CB Richard Ellis. Before entering the brokerage business, he was an Account Executive and Sales Manager for Authentic Fitness Corporation (NYSE). He, along with a sales team of 13 independent representatives, created and implemented a marketing and sales program throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Guam.
