This event is part of a national celebration in conjunction with the USA National Science & Engineering Festival in Washington, DC. The day kicks off a series of citizen science activities that are locally organized by science centers,

museums, libraries, universities and schools, and local and federal agencies around the U.S. and beyond.

who love nature! Learn about a number of

important citizen science projects and how you

too can be a purposeful observer of nature and

contribute to important body of data, which

result in meaningful information used by land

managers and scientists.
