“With a host of athletic offerings and opportunities available for students of all abilities, Berwick promotes an athletic culture that is

equal parts challenging and supportive. Our program offers elite athletes a level of play and coaching expertise that allows them to continue to excel and achieve their goals in college athletics and beyond. Berwick student-athletes compete with character and are the embodiment of excellence in action. All Berwick athletes and coaches take pride in representing the school’s values by demonstrating respect for our opponents, officials, coaches, and teammates while honoring the spirit of competition.”

Prior to becoming Berwick’s Director of Athletics, Rob Quinn was the head men’s lacrosse coach at Colby College, where he was named NESCAC Coach of the Year. Coach Quinn was a collegiate All-American and has been inducted into his high school and college athletic hall of fames. At Berwick, Coach Quinn leads the Captains Academy and helps student-athletes navigate the college search process. “I look forward to sports every day at Berwick. While all of my coaches have their own style, they all have a common foundation: they lead

us with a great balance of firmness and understanding. They challenge us but they support and respect us at the same time. My older teammates have been great mentors. They have helped me improve my skills, and made me feel like an important part of the team. I hope that when I am an upperclassman, I can do the same for the younger guys. Berwick Athletics is the best part of my day. I could not ask for a better experience.”

- Jack McCraven ‘17
