Safety Rules

Equipment for Pipe(Test) in Site

Inspect plug (if there are any flaws), dry and clean water and sewage pipe and inside manhole (pipe) before installation and use.

Must use right pipe for installation site and right plug for manhole (internal diameter of pipe).

When injecting air to plug, let it expand gradually checking the amount of air injected using pressure gauge. (Cautiously use equipment for repair of pipe likewise!)

When there is only a little amount of air in rubber pipe, it could be dangerous as water filled inside the pipe may explosively flow out, so make sure to fill air appropriately according to the pressure table specified in the product catalogue.

Make sure of safe working condition for smokescreen test, pneumatic pressure test and negative pressure test likewise. (Especially for smokescreen test, make sure not to suffocate by smoke.)

Must install supports and inject air in place free from any danger.

After work, slowly and gently remove the air plug which blocks water and let the water flow out.(If you push the water-release valve too hard or too quickly, the water may explosively flow out, so turn the valve gently.)

After installation of product, there must be no equipment or person in dangerous area and for any questions for work, please contact immediately.

Safety RulesOnce the plug is disrupted for any reason, it could incur death, physical injury and damage to the property. Unsafe practice maylead to death or serious injury.

Make sure to reference the instruction in the safety and health guidelines of Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency of theMinistry of Employment and Labor.
