bEST Guard is a security application that helps protect confidential company information by storing copies of docu-ments and transaction log data in an external database. This allows data leakage to be identified and avoided, and is an ideal solution for companies and departments who prioritise data confidentiality.

bEST Guard saves printed, copied, scanned or faxed pages in combination with related information concerning executed actions, user names, job status or time sent. The application therefore supports administrators by centrally providing all information to identify sources of document leakage.

The benefits include a database browser which supplies the administrator with enhanced searching options, making it easy to find and view the desired data. For example, it is

possible to track back and check which users handled a confidential document that leaked to the public or which documents were printed, copied, scanned or faxed on a specific MFP.
