A few days in Paris and Barcelona

I had been working really hard while I was in Paris, so I decided it was time to take a few days off to really enjoy the city.

After leaving my raging party of a hostel, the Peace and Love Hostel and Bar, I started by hanging out in the beautiful Montmartre district where I saw the Sacre Coeur Cathedral. From there I spent some time wandering the street of Montmartre, which is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

I then went down to hang out around the Latin Quarter to see an historic bookstore--the Shakespeare and Company--before going to the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens to read. From there I went to eat at the Cloiserie de Lilas, famous for the patronage of great writers such as Hemingway, Joyce, and many more.

Early the next morning I flew down to Barcelona and spent two days seeing the sights and on the beach. There I learned that there be no building more magnificent than Sagrada Familia, and nothing more tranquil than relaxing on the Mediter-ranean. I spent almost all of my night time partying in the hostel I was at, the Gothic Point, which proved to be a fantastic place to enjoy the company of an international crowd.
