Greek clothes•“Ancient Greek clothing consisted of
two main garments-a tunic and a cloak.”(www.ancientgreece.com/s/Clothing/)
Greek Fire•It’s not real fire, until it hits water (or
human skin)... it’s a dangerous weapon and no one knows the exact formula that the Byzantine-Greeks used.
Greek Yogurt
• Greek yogurt is yogurt which has been strained in a cloth or paper bag or filtered to remove the whey, giving a consistency between that of yogurt and cheese, while preserving yogurt's distinctive sour taste.
Greek Architecture•Greek architecture has influenced much
of the architecture of the US such as the White House, as shown below.
Greek Easter•Greek kids play an egg game on Easter
in which they try to hold one egg, and break other childrens eggs. The kid with the last egg standing is really lucky and they, unlike the other children, will not be in serious need of a shower.
•Greek Easter=Breakfast
Trojan War•The Trojan War was a war between the Mycenaeans (Greeks) and the Trojans over the king’s wife. The Greeks won because of Odysseus’s idea to hide in a giant wooden horse. I have no idea why the Trojans brought the thing into the city, but they were stupid enought to do it.
The Olympic Games•The Olympics
originated in Greece and were haeld in honor of their god Zeuz.
The Greek Flag
• The Greek Flag is based on nine equal horizontal stripes of blue alternating with white. There is a blue canton in the upper hoist-side corner bearing a white cross; the cross symbolizes Eastern Orthodox Christianity.
The Sicilian War
• The Sicilian war Sicily was attacked by Syracuse in 416 BC. Under the able guidance of Alcibiades. Alcibiades was held for crimes against religious statues (hermai). Alcibiades was allowed for the Sicilian expedition but on arriving called back to Athens for trial. He fled to Sparta and Nicias was the new leader. Alcibiades became a Spartan messenger.

Greek Art
•Greeks drew and sculpted a lot of people. Mainly heroes and their gods.
Perseus•This guy’s daughter married Zeuz and had Perseus. An oracle told that Perseus would overthrow his grandpa, so his grandpa put Perseus and his mom in a trunk and threw them into the sea. SOMEHOW, they landed on and island. The king got mad at Perseus, so he told Perseus to go kill Medusa. When Perseus actually succeded, he turned the king into stone... With Medusa’s head. Then Dionysus killed Perseus (idk why).
