Nursing is vital to healthcare as it is the nurses who monitor and carefor the patients. As time passes, doctors and specialists spend less andless time with their patients. It is the nurse who picks up that slack, caring for the patient's many needs. For those who go into a long termcare facility, the nurses on staff are the professionals who aremanaging their daily lives. It is often misunderstood that nurses onlycomplete the orders of the doctor. This is not true, as each nurse worksindependently to provide care for the patient. Bethany Kludt is lookingforward to being a nurse in Ohio.
